PURPOSE OF REPORT |

To enable Council to consider the appended report ‘Council Plan 2025 – 2029’, as recommended to Council by the Executive at their meeting on 21 January 2025. |
2.0 BACKGROUND
2.1 On 21 January 2025, the Executive considered the appended report ‘Council Plan 2025 – 2029‘ and recommended it to Council at their meeting on 14 February 2025.
2.2 The Council Plan is a key component of North Yorkshire Council’s policy framework,
setting out the Council’s objectives and how its resources are to be used to deliver those
objectives. Ensuring the Plan is developed in a timely and robust manner is essential in
order to drive forward the business of the Council and improve performance.
